I had this listed with a case and strap but I think that was the wrong idea so I'm going a different direction with this listing.
I bought this bass stock from an ebay auction. It's a fine example of a Squier bass, but I don't really need it and it might as well go to someone who will use it.
I replaced the stock tuners with Schaller licensed tuners from a MIM jazz neck. I replaced the stock bent metal bridge with a heavier bridge I bought from ebay a few years ago. It is a drop in replacement that looks cool and has more mass.
It plays very nicely, the neck is straight and smooth. The body has some scuffs, scratches and dings that I tried to show clearly in the pictures below. No chips or missing finish.
Great starter or bar bass. I'm asking $225 shipped obo.
