Squier Vintage Modified P--Fretless!!!

Up for sale is my 2007 Squier (Squire) Vintage Modified P bass. It has been upgraded with a GFS bridge (this one I think http://www.guitarfetish.com/Oversize...ome_p_578.html) and a Squier Classic Vibe pickup (well, I think it is an upgrade over the DD, but that point is debatable. Neither one is as good as my vintage DiMarzio, although the CV comes REALLY close).

The frets were removed and the bass was set up by Ryan Martin of Becker Guitars, a boutique builder here in Attleboro, Ma. I love the satin-y feel of the neck, and it is a great player. I'm going to try my hand at unlined fretless, but first this guy has to go.

Body is in great shape, and I would put it 9 of 10. Could use a set of flats--there are rounds on it, and they are getting stale.

There is no case.

I take paypal, and I would be happy to ship it anywhere in the US. If you are local to me, I will hand deliver it to your house, or wherever we work out. I'll be traveling north to Maine for the next couple of weekends, and I can always make a quick trip south to NYC. Other than that we're probably talking shipping.

Not too interested in trades, unless you have an unlined fretless something (maybe....I've already got my eye on a MIJ Jazz), A Squier Musicmaster in shell pink ONLY (getting warmer...) or a Gallien Kruger MB210E (jackpot.) I'd prefer to do a trade locally.

Have you considered a Mighty Mite fretless neck?

its cheap
unlined ebonal
and it fits right in a Squier neck pocket
just add tuners, string tree, etc,.

You can sell the lined neck and pretty much get a Mighty Mite neck for close to nothing
just an idea

I like the MM necks (I have one on a J bass) but I've got my eye on one with a maple board.

Thanks bassteban, that is a sweet looking bass. But I am going for it--20 years of playing bass (poorly) I am GOING UNLINED (triumphant music).

Can you tell it's late? I wish I was drunk, but I just spent 9 hours answering phone calls and inputting data. Oddly enough, even though the call center is in Rhode Island, they make me do an Indian-English accent. I think it is pretty racist, but I really need the work.

Attleboro is nice--it's a little run down in the commercial areas, but there are some real nice rural parts and some cool old buildings sprinkled around town.
