FS only! Squire Vintage Modified 70's jazz bass. Got this thing in a trade, thought I'd keep it for a nice knock around, but it's not getting played. The bass is a conglomerate of a 70's series ash body and '77 series neck. The ash body has a light amount of flame to the top half, and the neck is sturdy with nice movement on the truss rod. I recently gave the bass a full once over and set up and cleaned up all the fret issues that plague these basses and got it playing like butta. The bass is in better than new condition thanks to the fretwork. There isn't a bump, ding, scratch, scrape, or disfigurement of any sort on the bass, it's really in that good of shape. I also gave the bass a fresh set of D'addario 40-95 chrome flatwound strings, and a set of Nordstrand NJ4SV silent jazz pick ups with cream covers for the ultra goofy 70's vibe. (you'll wish you had a leisure suit when you pick this bass up) The bass plays with a low and buzz free action and sounds like a 70's jazz bass without the hum. It weighs in at 8.5 lbs on the bathroom scale. No case, but I'll pack it like a tank, and it does come with the original Duncan Designed single coils, and the black covers for the Nordstrands (the Nordy covers are a bit used, but still functional)
