Stagg Jag BM350 in Lava Lamp Blue WOW!

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!!!

I remain really impressed with how well-made this bass is. Definitely on par with the better SX offerings. A good looker and a solid player.

Okay, these are going for $279.00 (no case) plus shipping brand new from authorized dealers on the 'Bay.

My tech and I went over this one with a fine-tooth comb and fine tuned it. Nut slots touched up, frets touched up, neck set correctly in the pocket, tweaked the action and intonated to perfection. This bass lacks for nothing, and it turned out surprisingly well. It weighs in at 8.6 lbs. on my digital scale, and is strung with a new set of Super Slinky 45-100 strings. It features a P-Bass style neck, very stable. Cosmetically and functionally in excellent condition.

The biggest surprise, beyond the playability and zing + balls (it's a great slapper), is the output of the two MM clone humbuckers. Wow, it's really full, I actually have to turn both pickups down a tad, and then turn the bridge down a bit more until I heard the phase tone I liked (just like a Jazz bass). You may want to experiement with pickup height.

So cool with the matching headstock, pearloid pickguard, and gold hardware, I'm going to miss it and I know some day I'll wish it was still in my stable.

$200.00 includes shipping CONUS. No international shipping. Upgrade to a decent hardshell for $50.00.

I'm an excellent packer, and I prefer UPS or FedEx (ground), your choice.

PayPal preferred, money order offers go on the back burner so I don't get my back burned, I'm sure you understand. Sorry, no trades, for sale only.

Does p-bass style neck mean 1 3/4" or 1.625"?

The ruler says 1 5/8", which I believe translates to 1.625"

Definitely not 1 3/4"

Thanks for the inquiry.

Thanks for the comment. I'm having second thoughts about selling. It's a very nice bass and that's a crazy low price.

Wow, I really thought I'd be doing some lucky TB'er a favor with a great deal on a solid double hummer Jag.

I may have to extend that favor to the eBay community.

BUMP!
