I've owned Stambaughs, and they were all fantastic basses. I'm sure the playability of this bass is amazing, but I just couldn't go there with this design. A bump none the less.

Stambaugh is awesome. Is that one called the Shark bass? I think I remember a youtube vid about it. Could be mistaken though.

What is the weight?
At what position is the strap button, relative to the fret # ?
Nut width, neck feel/shape?
Do you need extra long A and D strings?
AWESOME BASS!... please describe it's tone
Clips would be fantastic...

Hi Eduardo
The bass weighs 7 1/2 pounds
The strap button is located relative to the 20th fret.
The nut width is 1 5/8" and this bass feels like a sports car, with J-bass style neck
Standard long scale strings work perfectly, as long as you don't trim the A and D.

This bass has a beautiful tone and very quick responding feel.
I'll post some sound clips tonight.

It took me a while to sort this shape out but here's what I see:

A Klein body, a Fleishman head/tail? stock, a touch of Leduc, King and a few others. "It ain't normal", but I get it.
