Liquidating more stuff...
We've got here a gorgeous Stambaugh Fretless 4-string, and honestly the best fretless I've played. It just SINGS like crazy and it's amazing how easy it is to play in tune. Some wear on the board but it's only superficial; plenty of life left in the board. Strange how it plays in tune so easily compared to other fretlesses. It's in immaculate condition minus a small bump in back. Recent pro set-up with Ken Smith Compressors. It pains me to see it go (it's also so light and balanced!), but alas...
- Mahogany Body, satin finish
- Flame maple top w/black accent line
- 3 piece bolt-on neck
- Lined Pink Ivory fingerboard
- Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups, wired in series, matching pink ivory covers
- Aguilar OBP-3
- V/V/T
- Mid shift switch, Active/Passive switch, and on/off kill switch (I LOVE this thing, especially with the VVT setup)
- Black hipshot hardware, A style bridge I think, Dunlop dual-design strap locks
- Hardshell case
$1250 shipped. Not looking for any trades except a Fender Roscoe Beck 5 string. Thanks!

"I hope your bass sells quickly" bump!

I have a shoreline gold, clean, only issues are small nicks on headstock, pickup switches are slightly crooked (came that way in trade for a Gary Willis 5--does not affect single coil, parallel, series switching).
I'm thinking of giving the fretless thing a try again. Thanks, Dennis |
