I have for sale a Stanbaugh 5 string bass that is in excellent condition. The bass has a Premavera Top, Mahogany Body, Bart pre and pickups, 5-piece neck w/ ebony fingerboard and case. This bass has a 35 inch scale and is on sale for only $1300.00 plus shipping. Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. The bass will ship in a generic hardshell case. How about nut width? Typically 1-7/8" or 1-3/4" with values as low as 1-5/8" or as high as 2" (all numbers for 5 strings)? I prefer the lower end of that range.

And is the neck relatively thin or chunky in its carve? If you can compare to any other common basses, that would help.

Also, what is the function of the four knobs? I'm familiar with Barts in the MTD configuration (vol, pan, low, mid, hi) but not four knobs.

The nut width is one and 7/8. The neck carve is thin in my opinion. The controls are vol, pan, bass, treble. Thanks
