Standard Chapman Stick $1000

Serial number 988, probably a late 1970s/early 80s vintage. Virtually identical to the one Tony Levin played for many years with King Crimson and Peter Gabriel. I'm only the second owner and I've pampered it. Dark, nicely grained Brazilian ironwood body. Dual truss rod design. MOP position markers. Comes with soft case embroidered with the Chapman Stick name in yellow gold thread and a fairly new strap. I've had it strung with light gauge Stick strings and have only played it mono. It was just recently in to my tech who cleaned it up so it looks as great as it plays. $1000 plus actual ground shipping to your address within the continental US only. Payment by money order. Photos upon request, although if you see a photo of Levin from say the 80s Crim band, it looks just like that. Check my feedback; I'm a very honorable seller. Thanks for looking. Good luck on the sale--I have a Stick, but it hasn't gotten much use since I started playing upright bass a few years ago. I'm certain you could get more than $1000 for it on eBay--also try posting on the StickWire email list (if you haven't already).
