This is a near mint 1992 Washburn MB-8 bass guitar. It was made when Washburn was a high end company. This is a fairly light bass. I think it's around 8 lbs, so gigging all night is easy.
It has a basswood body (I think ), flamed maple top, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, all gold washburn hardware, top of the line bridge that adjust in any way, shape, or form you like, AND finally STATUS pickups with a STATUS 18v active preamp. It has a click volume (detents at every level so you can keep it where it is), blend, bass/treble boost/cut.
The volume cuts out when the blend is all the way to the right, but a millimeter turn and it's back. That's only when you turn it all the way to the right. Since this bass is like new, MAYBE it was built that way as a "mute". I would think it's not an issue since the blend is usually somewhere in the middle. I want to disclose this, but again, I don't think it's an issue. Also, what looks like chips and flaking on the bridge is a reflection from my ceiling. As I said, this bass is virtually unplayed. It's nearly 20 yrs old, too !
34" scale, 24 frets, new strings, new set up. This bass is a players bass. The action is UBER LOW and there are ZERO dead spots or fret noise. ZERO. It feels like a CIRRUS.
I am sacrificing this bass to you for $350 shipped in a gig bag. Lower 48 USA please. This is a deal at only $350.
