Status Graphite/Fender Hybrid Precision Sale

Okay, this is for sale. Status Graphite fretted, non-dot Precision neck - plays like a friggin' dream. Status Graphite pickup as well. Fender USA Body - the original maple neck did the twist and so it's history. The neck also has a Hipshot D-Tuner. Fabulous!

I have well over $2,000 in this bass. I want to buy a Status Graphite S-2 Classic, so the time has come for me to part with the "Oreo" bass. Or, if you will, the "Tuxedo" bass. It has been called both things.

My price is an even $1,100.

It comes with the following FREE goodies:

- a hardshell SKB case! Fabulous!
- a 20' (I think) Mogami guitar cable!
- the fender strap that dug into my shoulder since May 2008!
- the pictured guitar stand!
- a tuner!
- a free set of brand-new DR Lo-Riders!

My amp system isn't together at the moment, and you'd probably want to play it through your stuff anyway. I have DR Lo-Riders, which you may hate and probably want to replace.

It's a good neck. The weak US $ makes ordering a new one more expensive than it should be. I'd sell the neck, but then I'd be left with the damn body!

Yeah, I hear ya. A new Status neck would run me around $560 after shipping and import duties. I've been watching the British Pound Sterling and it was at $1.60 a few weeks ago but now it's back up to $1.64 - I should have bought one then.

My preference would be a J neck with dot inlays but I'd certainly not turn down a pre-drilled P neck with no inlays if it meant saving money.

Of course, I totally understand not wanting to part it out.

This is still here? Daaaaamn. I just bought a Modulus Genesis neck because I thought maybe all-graphite would be too bright and zingy (I prefer fat and warm.) But I can't believe someone hasn't grabbed this bass. Less than the price of an American P and with a way more expensive neck Bump!
