Status King Bass Artist “RETRO-GLIDE”

I might regret doing this but I'm putting up my Status King Bass up for sale.

The bass is in mint condition and I'm only selling it to free up some cash for another purchase. I am extremely happy with this instrument and regretfully am willing to part with it only for the funds! This is an incredible instrument and is a rare version of the Status King Bass. Not many of these exist! I've had it for about 8 months and to get one of these new will cost you about $6k. The playability of this instrument is effortless and the tones that you can create from this I think are limitless. P Bass, J Bass, Alembic etc... it's all there!

Here are the details on this bass:

Status King Bass Artist “RETRO-GLIDE”

Custom "woven-chrome" facing over maple top
2-piece alder back with black metallic lacquer
4-string woven chrome / graphite through-neck
Dual-action truss-rod
Custom 32" scale (811mm) fingerboard
Custom BendWell
Phenolic fingerboard, 24 frets
GREEN FRONT AND SIDE LED's!
Chrome hardware
Mono-rail bridge / tuner units
Custom 16.5mm string spacing
Status chrome soap-bar pickups
Status three-band E.Q. with variable midrange frequency
Master volume, pickup blend control
18 volt power supply for the preamp
18 volt power supply for the LED's
Set-up with Status Graphite 'Hotwire' Strings Double-Ball Hex
Core 30-50-70-90. This bass can use various 34" scale Double-Ball strings as well as, regular strings too!
Includes Heavy Duty ABS Moulded Hardshell Case

$5000.00 firm.

Sorry No Trades and will only ship to the lower 48.

Originally I was looking for a trade but you can see images here from an earlier posting.

I can get more pictures if need be.

PM me if you are interested.

Thanks!

Friday Bump!
Also worth mentioning, I will consider NYC Sadowsky Jazz basses or Fodera's for trades plus $$ from me or you depending on the trade offer to make up the difference.

I own the same bass only with white LED's. These instruments totally smoke. Rob Green is a master and these RetroGlides are works of art. Woven Chrome is the coolest.
Fast bass with a greaet sound, wether use use Pick, Fingers or Slap these are monsters. Just watch MK with his. Great bass! Good luck with the sale. You won't get this bass for less.
