Hi All,
For sale is a very nice Steinberger XL2. The serial is 1966, so it is early Newburgh, sometime in 1984. This is a transitional model with EMG-SS pickups and V/V/T controls. It has a plug for a bayonet leg rest and is also drilled for a folding leg rest (the holes are capped). Both leg rests are included. The bayonet leg rest is not original. The original rotating plate strap adapter is included as well as a new Comsew gig bag.
The bass in in very good condition with only one serious chip on the rear by the output jack. You can see it in the photos, but is is only a surface defect and has no structural ramifications.
The bass sounds fantastic and does everything a Steinberger is supposed to do. I am selling because I can't get used to the ergonomics of the bass and I also could use the cash for other things.
$1650 shipped to your door in the continental US. This is a very good deal and significantly less that I paid a few months ago. If you are outside the continental US, contact me for a shipping quote. No trades, please, (unless you happen to have a set of half doors for a 2009 Jeep Wrangler.

)
Questions or interest, just drop me a PM.
Cheers,
Russ
