Here we have a very nice Sterling by MusicMan SB14.

Black w/matching headstock & rosewood board in excellent condition.

I have found this bass to be extremely comfortable and especially versatile with the upgraded Nordstrand MM4.3 pickup installed (aka, the direct Sterling replacement version that's $140 and not being made anymore). The pickup really does sound incredible!

Comes with all of the following:
* Tortoise pick guard (currently installed)
* Black pick guard with thumb rest
* Black ErniBall strap
* ErnieBall superlocks installed (original strap buttons included)
* Hipshot D-Tuner Installed (original tuner also included)
* Hardshell case included
* Currently strung with a brand new set of DR Fatbeams (thump thump!)

Selling only because I need to fund a new purchase. It's a great looking and playing bass. Bass is in excellent condition with only a couple small "dents" that are really not noticeable unless you're looking for them and not through the finish to the wood. Neck is excellent and super fast. A looker. Case looks virtually brand new.

$500 shipped to the lower 48. Not really looking for trades since I need to raise funds for a purchase. But you never know. Throw me a bone.

I tried to get a picture of the scratch in the glossy finish but it doesn't really show up. It's located right in the area where the brown circle is.

You can barely make out a tiny "dimple" where the brown circle is. Bass is very clean as you can see. These kinds of things are the extent of "use".

Still here. I've received a few trade offers for P-basses. While I appreciate the offers I'm just not really a P-bass fan.

I might be tempted by a 5 string active Jazz though.
