FS: Like New Sterling Ray 34 by Musicman - Honeyburst

Sign in to disble this ad
Beautiful Sterling by Musicman Ray 34 bass. Honeyburst finish, no scratches or dings, or mods. In excellent condition - looks basically new except for some very minor swirling that won't show up in a pic.

Bass is in excellent condition. Nice burst and very nice woodgrain. No buckle rash and only very minor swirling that won't show in any pics. Fit and finish are excellent. Overall build quality on the Ray is excellent in my limited experience. Frets, neck and truss are excellent.

The only thing of note is that the previous owner installed a thumb rest (see pic). I removed and installed two pg screws (see pic). I'll include the thumbrest in the bag.

It's a great bass it's just not my thing.

Comes with the original heavy padded bag also in excellent condition and tools.

$450 shipped.

Not really interested in trades at this time

Possibly trade for a Fender Jazz 24 (satin black only) - don't need anymore basses I just really like this model and love satin black for a finish

I'll have to check on the weight. It's on the heavier side, on par with a Jazz. It may be around the 10lb range.

All PMs replied. Sorry for the delays. Some interesting offers but not in line with the OP. Trying to stay focused

Think $400 plus shipping if that helps for those of you closer to PA. If you're willing to ship USPS snail mail you can save a little. Really looking to get $400 out of this. I think it's worth every penny. Again it's just not my thing.
