Sterling For Sale

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm selling a bass that I don't really want to sell, but the reality is that I can't afford to be a collector like some of you guys. I already own a Bongo, an Ibanez Musician (back-up bass) and a AB10 Washburn electric/acoustic as well as a new double H Stingray 4 that will be here in a few days.

Anyway, I have a Musicman Sterling (2004 model) in mint condition that I'm selling for $900 plus shipping. It comes with 3 pickguards (tort, white pearl, black) as well as the standard Musicman hardcase. It's been packed away going on a year now, ever since I got my new Bongo which is the only bass I've been gigging with. Let me know if you might be interested. Mike

mmm, that's a beauty. If I ever got a MM bass it'd be that exact one, or maybe the same in a 5er.

It's kind of eerie. I have a '95 Sterling Honeyburst with the exact same three pickguards. I guess we both have good taste. Is that a cherry burst?

I know that Mental Octopus is looking for one....because I almost sold him mine.

Good luck with your sale!

No matching headstock and it is a Honeyburst. Looks different in different lighting situations. I tried to show that by taking the tort picture in a sunny situation, the white pearl when there was a little less sun and the black pg inside the house with flash.

thanks for the plug man, but yeah I had to pass on this one simply because transparent finishes aren't my thing.

OK, my new Stingray has arrived and my Sterling still hasn't sold. So, new price: - $850 - If your a fan of burst finishes (like I am), you won't find one in nicer condition than this one unless you buy it new.

Is this beauty still on the market or does it have a new home?
