Stingray Classic 5 G.C. Limited Edition Gold Sparkle with MHS, ebony f

After playing 19mm spacing basses for the past 10 years I have come to the conclusion that I just can't go back to 17mm spacing 5 string basses. So up for sale only is this mint condition and very rare Musicman Classic Stingray 5 G.C. limited edition bass. It's gold metallic with a matching headstock. Ebony fingerboard with a nicely fiquired roasted birdseye maple neck.
In all my travels in bass land I have not seen one out there like this bass. Not only is it a beautiful looking, it's a well crafted instrument and by far the best playing and sounding Musicman Classic 5 string I have ever owned. It has nice low action and ebony fingerboard gives the bass a warm edgey sound to it. I have to tip my hat to Musicman on this one because it's an awesome bass.

It's in mint condition! Not a scratch or ding anywhere. I only used it for one gig where I played it for a couple of songs. It comes with the original shipping box, case, hang tag and unopen case candy.

New it cost me $2,200.00 at G.C. less than a month ago. I am selling it for $1,800.00 plus shipping. This price is FIRM!

No trades please.

Payment can be made by Paypal or U.S. Postal Money Order Only.

Pics can be seen here at this link:

One one last note I love this bass and the way it sounds and plays. If it had 19mm spacing I would not be selling it. I just laid away a Musicman Classic 4 string that is very similiar to this 5 string in the hopes that it will produce the same sound. I have found that I like the spacing on the 4 strings a lot more than the 5's.

This bass is sure to be a collectable bass. I have heard from a good source at G.C. they are only going to produce a few of these Classic 5's in this color with roasted maple necks. Thanks for checking it out.

If you got it less than a month ago, it's pretty likely you can take it back to G.C. for a full refund .

I can't take it back to G.C. for a refund I made an agreement with them that the sale was final on this instrument. No returns. Thanks for the thought though.

I started to read the OP without seeing who wrote it and said "This sounds eerily familiar."

You'll never learn.
