Up for trade is my STR LS549 in near mint condition. It's amazingly versatile in sound and the quality of construction rivals Fodera, Ritter, and Sadowsky. It has a Japanese Kurogaki Ebony top (Like Palemoon Ebony) on Mahogany body with 5 pc Maple and Rosewood neck with Birdseye Maple finger board. STR Custom Dual Coil Pickups with Rosewood covers and Aguilar 3 band preamp. It currently is wired for switchable humcancellin/single coil operation but can easily be reversed to the standard switchable series/parallel operation. It weighs exactly 9.93lbs. Looking for fretted 5 or 4 string basses only.

This thing was wired for switchable series/parallel operation but I couldn't resist. It took me 3 mins. to mod it for switchable humcancelling/single coil operation. Can you say JAZZ!............or not! Wow! Now I don't know if I can bring myself to trade it.

Beautiful bass there Abe. Always wanted to try a STR, but never seen one local or know of anyone that had one.

Hey Abe. What instrument out there would you compare the B string clarity and sound? Sadowsky, Roscoe, Lakland??....

The B is very clean and focused. Nice and tight. I can't compare to brands as I've found that every B varies even within highend brand names.

It weighs exactly 9.93 lbs. Looking for trades such as Nordy VJ5, Lakland 55-94, Junk 5, etc.
