I've been stockpiling basses like nukes during the Cold War and now I must dismantle the arsenal. Each bass will have it's own thread (so I can do detailed pics/description), but I want to answer questions and update this thread only, so that I don't overload the board with my threads (I hate when others do that).

Say, stranger! What's the weight and balance on the Fernandes 5? BTW, the Bossa says "hi".

The Fernandes balances well a strap, but it does dive a little when seated. Only weighs 8.8 lbs though. Give the Bossa a kiss for me...miss that bugger.

Yuck...tastes like Tru-Birch and Briwax. I should know better than to kiss something that hangs out in bars every weekend.

Bump for a great TBer and some truly awesome gear!

Zon

I must say I keep looking at the Zon Legacy Elite and thinking...

What's the scale and string spacing? And the weight?

I might very well take action on that bass, depending on the specs.

Pedulla uses a proprietary truss rod with a square head adjustment nut. You can't uses standard truss rod wrenches. They include a wrench that's really just an autoharp tuning wrench (but they charge $20 for it).

The bass weighs 9.5 lbs...not bad at all and the bass balances well. Thanks for the interest!

The bass is a 34" scale, 17mm spacing standard. I believe it weighs right around 9 lbs, but I'll get you an actual weight later today. Zon's have the tightest 34" scale B-strings in the biz.
