SX Jazz Fretless 5

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a black SX jazz fretless five string up for sale.
Black, white pickguard, lined fingerboard.

What can I say about it? Well, it's an SX. You guys know about them. It's certainly not a Sadowsky, or even a MIM Fender, but it's a decent bass. It's fun to plink around on, and I even actually used it at a gig a few times.

Let's say $100 plus actual ship. No case or gig bag but I'll pack it well.

Trades? I suppose, but I'm not sure what I'd be interested in. Doesn't hurt to run it by me.

I've gotten lots of PM's about trading effects. As of now, the only effects pedals I'd be interested in are
an EBS Chorus, an EBS Multi Drive, or an EBS Bass IQ.

I'd do an even swap for any of those, as long as you still paid the bass shipping.

Your right, its not a MIM Fender, I should not have all the dead spots on the G string in the neck like a MIM Fender. Dont sell this bass short, I recently purchased one with Bart's and an Audere pre and its awesome, and it was much loved by the previous owner.

There are plenty of other threads for the SX fans to debate SX vs. Fender. Here's a Sunday bump.

Man this is tempting... I'm dying for an inexpensive fretless. What is the neck profile like on this? Passive electronics?

Passive electronics...just like a normal jazz. The neck profile is pretty much the same as a Fender 5.

I doubt it, but trade for a Lake Placid Blue SX Fretless P-Bass? Just hypothetical at this moment...

Thanks for the offer, but I already have another fretless that gets the playing time. That's why I'm selling this one.

All PM's are answered. Guys, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't know how I can make it any clearer. I'm not interested in any trades for this bass except for EBS pedals.
