: SX Precision Fretless Bass in HSC Like New

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

Awesome bass, but I switched over to a fretless Jazz and this one is not being played. I should keep it as a great #2, but I have to thin the heard and make room. Comes exactly as it arrived from Rondo Music in the CNB hardshell they shipped it in. Weighs in at exactly 8 lbs. on my digital scale. Old-style SX headstock, "Vintage Series" refers to the vintage tint neck and fingerboard. Strung with flats, 1 5/8" at the nut (P-Bass neck), lined fingerboard. Set up was a piece of cake, it plays like butter, has the "mwahh" factor. With flats, the thick poly coat should protect the board for a good long time.

$225.00 shipped CONUS. No international shipping. I'm an excellent packer, and I prefer UPS or FedEx (ground), your choice.

PayPal preferred, money order offers go on the back burner so I don't get my back burned, I'm sure you understand. Sorry, no trades, for sale only.

This is a cherry of a fretless bump.

I really appreciate how you have presented this bass. Other sellers need to take notes on the fact that you made sure it had no finger prints on it. Wiped and shined beautifully and you really know how to take great pics.

Thanks much. I'm glad you didn't see my black P Basses for sale in an other ad. Ouch! Fingerprint City. I didn't have time to clean them up, and they are...black.

At any rate, I really baby my gear, regardless of the value. A perfectly good bass that plays and sounds good deserves to be cared for and made to last.

These SXs are very underrated. I notice you have all kinds of cheap Fretlesses for sale... I think want one

Do you have a clips of this or the Yamahas?

Sorry, no clips, just my word of honor as a TB'er in good standing that they sound about like you would expect. Great output from the split P pickups, and a good dollup of fretless "mwahh." I acquired a couple of these in trades, and they really helped me get my head (and hands) around the whole fretless thing to the point I felt I deserved to go a step higher with a somewhat nicer fretless (MIM Jazz).

At these prices, for this and the Yamahas, you can not go wrong. Take the plunge!
