Takamine EG512C Acoustic Bass

Like new. Bought last fall as a backup for my Azola Deco. Plays and sounds great it's just not something it turns out I have a real use for and with work slow I’ve decided to sell. Here’s a link to the manufacturer’s website and detailed pics of the actual bass will be available in a couple of days. http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=355&sid=172
Comes with a Warwick Rockbag I bought at the same time as the bass but have been using regularly with the Deco…it’s in great shape but not as new like the bass. No rips or tears, all zippers are good, missing one metal foot out of 4 on the bottom of the bag is the only flaw.

Here are pics. Also I'd consider a PC laptop in trade.

Bump. What year is yours? I have an EG512C and it has a different preamp control scheme then yours, but with all the same options.. interesting.

Electronics aside, this ABG is LOUD. It sounds great unplugged and can just about keep up with an acoustic guitar as far as volume goes, which is saying a LOT! A great bass.

I bought it around October 06 from a place that turns stock over pretty fast so I'd assume it's 2006. The fact it had good acoustic volume is one of the things that attracted me to it. Sounds ok amplified too. I'm usually not a fan of onboard preamps but I like the sweepable mid and the onboard tuner is really handy. Stringing it with TI jazz flats gives it way more of and upright sound too.

Ah, mine is a 1999. Mine does not have an onboard tuner either. That would be really handy. Bump again!
