This is an older TBC USA 5-String MM-style bass that was made in California when TBC was building handmade custom shop instruments (serial # 00204). Ash back, quilted maple top, maple neck with birdseye maple fingerboard. 34" scale, 19mm string spacing, Stingray style humbucker with 3-band active EQ. Sounds and plays fantastic.
The only issue with this bass is the finish - the previous owner stripped the original finish and tried to DIY a nitro refin - not a good job (sticky, uneven). So I was going to send it down to Pat Wilkins to get a refin done (maybe greenburst) but thought I'd put a feeler out. I'll sell it as-is or take it down to Pat to have it refinished in whatever color the buyer wishes. Selling for $475 shipped (AS-IS) or $775 shipped with a custom color. A like new Roadrunner gig bag is included. International shipping is no problem, just PM me for a quote.
