Hey all,
I picked up
MikeBass' Streamer in my eternal desire to catch up to being Stu Zender. Unfortunately, I don't sound like him even with a killer bass, and I don't really care for the "Warwick sound", as I've found to my dismay. So, I'm left with 2 options that I can see:
(1) Put this under my bed for 10 years, and hope it's worth something once it's "vintage."
(2) Trade this for something that I'll use for the next 10 years.
This thread hopes for (2). Maybe you can help?
What I'm looking for:
4 string
Single Coil Js preferred, humcancelling ok
Passive preferred - a warm preamp like a Bart NTBT could work too
Examples:
Mike Lull 4
Nordy vJ4
Lakland JO, maybe a DJ...US preferred
'08 or later Fender American Jazz
I guess I could trade down for a MIM 70s jazz or something of the like, if the $$ is right.
You get the idea. Something simple, playable, and more vintage sounding than the brass-bell-perfect Warwick tone. A little bit of cash up or down is ok, too. Here's the old thread.
