I think 5 basses is too many. And since these get the least amount of use, it's time to reacquire GAS money.
STATUS GRAPHITE ENERGY ARTIST
These are a rare find, trust me! I've been looking for years and this finally came up.
Ash/Mahogany body, Walnut top, Maple neck, Rosewood FB.
34" scale, zero fret, 18mm spacing at bridge.
Hyperactive pickups (9v)
The bass is in great shape, overall, but it has signs of use. With as thin of a finish as it has, there's some scratches and dings, but nothing drastic.
This is one of the most comfortable to play basses I've ever had. And the tone control is amazing with the ACG preamp installed. I can remove it to reduce the price.
Includes non-original hardcase.
$825, with ACG preamp
$675 with volume-pan-tone
SQUIER DELUXE ACTIVE JAZZ V, in the uber-rare WHITE!
This isn't your stock, run of the mill Squier anymore. Not only is it the rarest of colors for these, but it's been overhauled.
Sadowsky HC pickups
Hipshot B bridge (aluminum) (19mm spacing)
Hipshot Ultralite Tuners (USA)
Hipshot string tree
Hipshot Knobs
Shielded cavity
Basswood body, maple neck, phenolic 20 fret board.
As it's got a great setup for mods, it's had numerous preamps in it. But as it sits, there's just a VVT passive setup. CTS vol pots, Alpha tone, Sprague cap.
Fresh set of strings, too.
It has the tone of that classic Jazz tone. Not crispy and modern, but absolutely noiseless pickups, plenty of output and great for any kind of mods you'd plan for in the future.
A few scratches, nothing deep. Feels amazing.
PARTING IT OUT HERE!
No one has claimed it yet, $375 whole!
KAWAI KRB-105, GRAPHITE NECK!
SOLD!!!!!
These basses are fricking amazing! The tone is akin to anything graphite necked you've ever played (Steinberger, Modulus, Status), but the price doesn't reflect it. This is the best bargain on a bass I've ever played and if it had a 5th string, I wouldn't sell it.
Ash body, graphite neck, phenolic resin board. Made in JAPAN!
24 fret, 34" scale. Weighs in at a svelte 7.8lbs!
EMG active pickups, volume-select switch-tone setup (plugged 4th hole).
Schaller West Germany hardware (it was made in '88).
Pickup placement and 1.6" nut make for a Musicman-ish feel and tone. Very throaty midrange, but I've played DUB with this thing and it's awesome.
Some nics and dings, but overall, really nice shape.
