SOLD. This is a great bass, spacing is a little tighter than I remember it. Selling, but would trade for a Smith 5 Elite.
Pre-Gibson Tobias Classic 5. #1817. Neck-Thru, Rare Red Nara on top of a Wenge plate and an alder body, Flamed maple/purple heart neck, Pau Ferro board. There were maybe two with the Red Nara top accoding to Mike T. This is in really nice shape, there are a small amount of pinhead sized makrs in the finish, they barely penetrate the finish let alone the wood. I have seen these on evey pre-gibson Tobias that I have had and this bass has very few of them. Very clean bass. Comes with hardshell case, the previous owner had it strung E-C, but I had the original nut restored on this.
