Here we have an early Tobias Growler 5 string. It is serial 5636 which I believe puts it right in the middle of 1996. This is the desirable first generation with dual mid switches. It has the stock custom Bartolini pre and pickups. It's a unique dual preamp design. One set of treble and bass boost/cut for each set of coils. There's also a pickup pan knob. Quite versatile and punchy.
As you can see from the pictures this Growler is in amazing condition. I don't believe there is a dent or scuff on the body. This is the best specimen I could find and I looked for a couple years. There's only a slight bit of paint flaking on the bridge. I don't think this one was played much at all. It's virtually like new which is amazing considering its age.
Comes with original Tobias hardshell case. The rotary case lock tab is still in place meaning a lock code was never set. Case is in excellent condition too.
