When pulled the2nd volume is nullified and both pickups work together sorta like a humbucker. the tone control works normally.

By the way, I wasn't kidding about the bass being sweet. Looks like a great instrument. And I have 2 parts instruments (fender style) that blow away any fender I've ever played. |

Most Warmoth bodies have a truss rod access route. The neckpocket is nice and tight. The steel neck inserts are there for the best possible mechanical connection between neck and body.
