Trade Alert: I want your Peavey T-40!

I've always wanted a Peavey T-40. I know they're heavy but there's just something about them that makes me want to own one. I'm never in the right place at the right time with the right amount of money to buy one, but maybe we can work out a trade deal.

I have this Ibanez BTB510E:







Here are the stats:

• Mahogany body
• Maple/bubinga 5-piece neck
• Gotoh tuners
• Ibanez monorail bridges
• Nordstrand Big Split pickups
• Audere Classic 4-band preamp (the one without the Z-mode switch)
• Comes strung with newish TI flats, or I can string them with D'Addario rounds
• Dunlop Straplock buttons
• Hand made rosewood thumbrest (glued on)
• Weighs in at about 9.5 lbs

At one point this bass took a bad fall and the neck cracked behind the nut. I had it professionally repaired at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma, WA and it plays as good as new. There are also a few minor dings in the body, but they don't go through to the wood.

Man, seeing this makes me wish my T-40 wasn't such a beater. If you don't mind one that actually looks like a 30 year old bass (plays great though, minus the need of a good setup) hit me up. I may be able to squeeze a bit of cash out of the wife if needed to sweeten the deal.
