Trade bait: Reverend Rumblefish PJ

Here's a great bass that's seeing no action since I started playing 5-string. This bass should be played.
Made in the USA in 2005, phenolic body with metal top and back, Moroccan Gold in color, Reverend PJ pickups, V/V/T, maple neck and fretboard. The body has a couple of tiny nicks and some light swirling on the back, none of which will photograph.
I've got it strung with D'Addario Chromes, which are a great match for this bass. With the metal top/back and all-maple neck, it can get a bit bright with roundwounds, even nickels. The Flats sound awesome, especially with the P pickup soloed.
Comes with a Reverend teardrop case. Reverend only made 106 of this model.
As far as trades, what I really want is a Reverend 5L, preferably in excellent condition, solid color with a rosewood board.
Other than that, maybe a new Fender Am. Std. Jazz 5, or a good quality unlined fretless 5. PM me with offers. I can take some more detailed pictures if anyone wants. The blue bass in the second picture is not for sale.

howzabout I trade you my BelAir Blue 5L for the Gold/Maple PJ, and then I trade you my Gold/rosewood PJ for my 5L?

Well, if you trade this for a Fender 5, somebody will be getting a good deal. Hope you don't regret it!

Wish I could snag this special bass, but now is not a good time. Reverend PJs are pretty rare, and there can't be more than a few dozen ever made with a maple board. I've got two of them.

Good luck with the trade, Dave.

For a second there ... I though there might be a Fish-On with Chef.

I'm pretty sure this sweet Maple Gold Fish will be finding a new home ... about just as sure as you're going to be kicking yourself one day. I still regret getting rid of my Black Fish ... currently looking for the "right" 5'ver to get one again.

Good luck in the trade ... hold out for something sweet! This Gold Fish sure deserves it.

sorry if I confused anyone: I'm not in on this one.

(if you read my post carefully, my 5L ends up back with me, as does dave's bass: a poorly executed joke/bump, apparently)

Yup ... got the joke ... did take a couple of re-reads though.

Knowing your affinity for the Fish ... didn't think the first part wouldn't be out of the question, as it's such a sweet look-n Fish.

Here's a free BUMP for the de-rail.
