Trade Feeler - '04 MIA Std. Fender Precision w/ Duncan SPB-3 (not minty)

Due to GAS I have decided to see what's out there for trade. I have this 2004 American Standard P-Bass in 3 tone sunburst, with rosewood fretboard. About a year ago I had a Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pound pickup installed, and it sounds great. The S1 switch was not wired back in when the new pickup was installed, so the pickup is always in series mode. I've played it onstage several times, and it has a good punchy rock sound with rounds or flats. I currently have a set of .045-.100 D'Addario chromes on the bass. I don't have the stock fender pickup available, as it is in another bass.

Now, the bass has some finish chipped off in a few places, buckle rash on the back, some dents in the headstock, and a chip taken out of the pickguard near the input jack. This is the same condition it was in when I purchased it from the original owner, and the cosmetic damage does not seem to affect the playability of it. Though you can see the wood where it is chipped, it looks like there is actually a layer of clear coat in these places that has managed to survive below the sunburst finish.

I will also include a set of .045-.105 D'addario nickel round wound strings and install them if you like. I will ship the bass in the original Fender hard shell case. The bone nut installed is not original, but I will leave the original nut in the case.

For trades, I'm interested in 4 and 5 strings, fretted or fretless. I am particularly interested in American Peaveys, and also EBMM, G&L (and many others ). Money can go either way to facilitate a deal if necessary, but ideally not much. If original and/or mint condition aren't a big deal for you, they aren't for me either, really.

Let me know what you've got to trade, ask me questions if you have any. On to pics:

Any interest in a G&L Tribute JB-2 natural with rosewood? It is a couple of years old but in virtually as-new condition.

i have a 1982 peavey t-45 in the same color combo as your mia pbass i might be willing to trade.
it needs a major setup though, i have been trying to get in with my local tech.
id get that done before anything happens though. id just need to get into the shop.

EDIT: Ironically enough I have the pickups and S1 wiring from a 2004 mia pbass in my parts box.

I've got an early/mid 80's USA Peavey Dyna Bass. Probably the best thing I've ever played, but lately I've been longing for an American P.
