This is a sweet deluxe 5 alder/rosewood jazz. They really got everything right on this model. Somehow they managaged to get a tight B string with all the advantages of a 34" scale. Cool 70s blocks and binding, noiseless pickups.
It has active electronics with 3 band eq, and the switch puts it into passive mode. There is also a passive tone (aka "vintage tone control") that works when you are in passive mode, so it's the best of both worlds.
Trades:
What I really need/want right now is a good fretless 5 or 6 string bass, but
it must have lines.
I'm mostly interested in a Roscoe, Pedulla Penta/Hexabuzz, Zon, or Stingray 5 (all freltess) but will consider others as well.
I could also be tempted be a fretted Sadowsky metro / UV of the ash/maple variety, or possible a US Lakland.
