ok here's another in my 'thinning the herd' series. This is a 1971 Fender Jazz body, original black paint that I 'Marcusize' ie:
put Marcus plates on. The pickups are the new cream colored Carvin JA99s and the preamp is the Carvin 2 band volume volume tone stacked bass and treble.
This combo is what makes the Carvin SB series a killer. So I got that going with an Eden Eden neck (which ain't bad at all).
Everyone who plays this bass say it's one of the fastest necks they've ever played.
The tuners a genuine Fender Gold / Black.
The bridge is a brass quick string release type I got from Washburn. As you can see the headstock is 'Fenderish'
Overall a killer bass. Please take this off me before I buy a 1971 JB neck for it.
oh yeah it barely weighs 8 lbs. :-)
Notice the imported from Germany stacked
treble knob with bass clef inlay? That's not
coming with the bass. That cost me $100.
You are getting a plan gold knob
so there lol
and you can't have my Atelier Z 1/2 bell
cover that cost $100 sorry
I'd value her around $1250. I can ship her in a quality Body Glove Gig Bag.
