Trade Feeler - German Warwick, Corvette STD 4

Trade Feeler Warwick, Corvette STD 4 made in Germany

2004
Corvette Standard, 4-string
Passive Electronics
Natural Oil finish
Bubinga body
Ovangkol neck
Wenge fingerboard.
Bell brass frets
Compensating nut
Org. gig bag with all case candy except the warranty card:
Includes padded Warwick strap with straplocks
Beeswax
Allen wrenches
Truss rod tool
Owners Manual
Two sets of strings
-The set that came with it. Don’t know brand or age but they sounded fine and a set of DR Hi-Beams. I bought these new and had them on for a week and replaced them with the DR Black Beauties because I liked the way they looked with the brass frets and Wenge fingerboard.

The bass is in great condition the natural finish feels very nice. There are some light marks on the back and some of the pickup logo is wearing off.

This is a great bass however I just don’t use it much. My main bass is Velenti’s #032.
In one of the projects I’m in I find a need for a fretless bass and another an acoustic bass would be a nice fit so I think Id be interested in trading for a fretless acoustic bass in the $600 range. Some cash either way is doable too. My wife has been bugging me about a Christmas gift and I’ve been holding off telling her a fretless acoustic because I’d probably end up selling this later anyway.

Thanks for the offer, however I'm not really looking for a Stingray right now.

Thanks,

Siggy

Beautiful. I've never played one; what are the necks like?

The neck is more P bass like. C shaped 1-1/4" at the nut 2-1/8 at the 12th. I like it a lot however it may feel bulky to someone who prefers a thinner profile.

EVERYONE: Feel free to add your own impressions.

Is this still for sale? / Would you consider selling straight for $$ rather than trade?
