I'm most interested in another fretless 5 and would consider a G&L, Lakland, Pedulla and possibly some others. I'm willing to consider adding cash or additional gear to the "right" trade opportunity. Please PM me if interested in discussing a trade........

Hey, how does this sound with rounds when you crank the J pickup?
Also, is this 19mm at the bridge?
Thanks

. | I have never had rounds on it so I really can't tell you what it sounds like.
I just measured the string spacing at the bridge and it's 17mm which actually surprised me. I thought it was probably 18mm or 19mm.
BTW Kevin, that's a great video of you teaching at the Bloom School. Wish you were closer to me!

No soundclips at the moment. I'll try to get some recorded in the next couple days. Thanks for your interest. |

Great to see the Graph Tech components onboard.
Are those Ghost piezo saddle elements embedded in another manufacturer's bridge, or is it a fully integrated Graph Tech bridge?
Does the signal from the Ghost elements go to a Graph Tech preamp or some other type of buffer before it gets to the Bart preamp? Or is it a Bart preamp that includes buffering and blending between the mag pu and piezos? |

I can say that the Ghost is by far the best sounding piezo element I have come across. Very natural sounding, not "honky" at all! |

I just made a deal to buy back my old Pedulla Pentabuzz so I need cash to help replenish my line of credit at the bank. |

Not to put you on the spot, but does this sound MORE like an upright than any other non-upright you have played? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
