For Trade/Sale: Lakland 5502 (custom)

I love this bass. Just had it re-finished by Pat Wilkins. The colors are '57 Renown Blue (like the old chevy's), Olympic white, and a candy apple red strip. I'd like to see what else is out there that might spark my interest. If I have to hold on to this bass it would be no problem to me! Anyway, If you like what you see and have a trade idea in mind, let me know!

My interest leans toward 5 string and 34" scale. I'm open to hear any other trade ideas. UPDATE $1200.00 for sale. Add $50 for shipping.

This bass is in excellent condition and plays just as good as it looks. Bartolini pups and pre. It is a Skyline, the USA logo was put onto the headstock when it was refinished.

The paint job cost just over $400 and new these are about 1500.00. Looking for anything from the $900 to $1800 range trade wise, roughly.

inbound PM. would love to get this guy back if I could, but if not, no worries. Good luck with the trade. Love the finish btw.

for those on the fence, this 55-02 is a tone monster and records like no ones business! I still have producers asking me to bring this bass to sessions.

I've still got it and am playing it. Put it up as a trade feeler to see what was out there. The more I play it the more I love it. Holding on to it is fine by me for now

Fantastic refin!

I usually just look and move on. But this one is just fantastic. I love the choice on the refinish: truly unique!

I guess I'm going to have to send one of my basses to Pat!

'nuther bump for a bada$$ Lakland. I really wish I had something to offer you on your trade list. I REALLY would love to get this guy back. Free bump though.

FYI, if you go to Zak Sparks | Free Music, Tour Dates, Photos, Videos, you can hear THIS bass on tracks:

Not MK1s in that. Those are the same US Barts that Lakland used in all the US made 55-94 until they switched to the LH3 system, unless someone has modded the electronics after I had it. The MK1s only came in the 55-01 model and are much cheaper pickup.

yes. Same as in the US 55-94. MK1s are also soap bars.
