Up for trade is my STR LS549 in near mint condition. It's amazingly versatile in sound and the quality of construction rivals Fodera, Ritter, and Sadowsky. It has a Japanese Kurogaki Ebony top (Like Palemoon Ebony) on Mahogany body with 5 pc Maple and Rosewood neck with Birdseye Maple finger board. STR Custom Dual Coil Pickups with Rosewood covers and Aguilar 3 band preamp. It weighs exactly 9.93lbs. Comes with gig bag.
It is one of the try best build quality basses that I have had - seriously impressive - many call it the Japanese Fodera.
I am really looking for a Smith Elite, MTD USA or Fodera and can add cash or another instrument. Feel free to try me though with cash or other bass offers! Also check out the other amazing basses I have up for sale or trade here on TB!

What an amazing piece of albino ebony.
That is unbelievable, the most interesting and exciting piece of wood I have seen in a very long time.

I wouldn't sell it if I didn't have an obscene amount of grab basses. I need to get real and keep it to 7 basses and right now I am currently double digits. What am I keeping that I would even sell this? 3 Smith Elites, an MTD USA, 2 Roscoe Century Signatures custom made for me (one is fretless), and a Pedulla Ltd Ed. Hexabuzz fretless. In my opinion the STR is possibly more versatile than all of the above and is most similar in tonal variety to the MTD although the STR can also get way more vintage sounding, especially in passive mode. I won't be sad it this one doesn't go, but then again at the level of the basses I currently have, that can be said about all 8 basses for sale/trade here on TB. Check them out. The STR and the Humans are the best of the bunch in my opinion.

I just got a Benavente and I must say that I am quite impressed with the build quality (the electronic setup is quite different but I am getting it dialed in now).
