I'm the proud owner of the very first Rob Allen Deep 5 made. 34in scale, single volume control, one piece maple neck, koa top.
Some play wear show on the fretboard.
Love the bass, fretless may just not be my thing. I bought it in TB a few months ago and I ordered a case from Rob for it but the soft case is included as well. I also have 2 spare sets of strings that I ordered for it (La Bella 5 string long scale, same as stock strings).
Looking for an NYC PJ5, open to most finishes.
Here are some pics: |

I'll wait for a trade offer for a bit, I will post here if/when I'm ready to take cash.
Thanks!

Lets start with $2600 to lower 48 with HSC + 2 new sets of strings. $30 more to add the gig bag. Also open to other quality PJ5 style basses OR EBMM Big Al + Cash for trade.
Payment via PayPal eCheck (longer wait time, lower fees). |

Fretboard:
This one I'm not sure if it's a little ding or a wood mark, but you can see a small dot right by the fret line. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Mu_yHCVuRzE/Su...0/IMG_0238.JPG
Body dings:
A lot of folks are asking me to come down on price because they know I paid less than the asking price a few months ago here in TB. I did get quite the deal from Rodney on this one. I believe it was $2200. I did add the case that costs $250 and an extra $120 for the 2 sets of strings that are included.
That's why the asking is $2600 shipped, after paypal fees and shipping, I'll actually loose 50-80 bucks. Not trying to make a profit on this bass, just trying to sell it for what it's worth to me.

Edit: Good luck with the sale. It really is a beautiful instrument, and probably worth your asking price.
