Trade Feeler . Spector USA NT 5er. Buckeye!

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got a beautiful Spector USA NT in near mint condition that I'm putting up. I've never seen another Spector like it. I absolutely love this bass but I'll likely rarely play it out so I'm looking for something I will use more. I've already got a Spector ( Czechtor) NT 5er with solid maple body that is pretty close tonally. This bass is more open sounding, a bit less zingy but more complex in the high mids. I prefer the sound over my Euro but, again, I won't play it as much.

I'm looking for Fender Style basses ( Sadowsky, Lull, Celinder ect...). I may also trade for the right MTD. I'll consider multiple basses or a trade +cash. If anyone has Wal they want to put up I can add cash. Looking for 4 or 5 strings but have no interest in sixers. I'll consider other trades I but need something I can use more live

Pickups: EMG DCs
Pre: EMG BT I believe. It's not the HAZ-LAB.
Body: Buckeye Top, Flamed Maple Core and Walnut back. Only one like this I've ever seen.
Neck: Graphite Reinforced 3 piece maple.
Comes with straplocks and 3 inch padded leather strap and Spector HS case with humidifier.

PM me or e-mail to benthughes@yahoo.com

Will sell for $3100+shipping. This is as low as I'll go as I'm primarily looking to trade.

Way out of my financial league right now, but... amazingly beautiful Spector you have there. Probably the best bass in all of Alaska!

Spector

In going over the bass today I found bubbling in the finish on the headstock and around the D string tuning key as well as an indentation in the finish on the back....not through the finish but a 3 mm circular marring. I'll still field trade offers and try to get pics of these issues up....I figured they should be stated though.

Right now I'm stringing it D-A# or E-C...I dunno. I played it a bit again today and don't mind having it around until something great comes along.

Throwing this beauty back in the fray. I absolutely love the way this bass sounds but I figure I'll see what's out there. This is one of the nicest basses I've ever played.

Info

Thanks to a a either Unit named Bob or a Bob named Unit for this message:
Hello,

Pretty sweet Spector you have there. FWIW, I believe that preamp to be the HAZ 18v pre which is made for Spector. All of the EMG BT circuits I've ever seen have had the balance control on a separate board.
Here is a link to the Spector Haz
Here is a link to the EMG
Good luck with your trade.

The Spector Preamp seems to be a winner!

The birthday of this bass is 04/21/2004
