I've been considering having this Euro converted to BEAD tuning but after some thought, I know a 5 will be better for my needs. This is a longshot trade offer, I know but I've gotta give it a shot anyway so here goes:
What it is: A 2003 Euro4 (pre LX) in translucent blue/black burst with solid figured maple body wings. It's not without it's dings and scars, most notably, a 1/4 inch long chip in the clearcoat along the side of the fretboard, located after the 3rd fret which doesn't affect the feel or playability at all. It has a few scratches and dings along the side and bottom edges of the body. Very minimal wear on the frets in the 1st position. The EMG P/
Js are complimented by an EMG BTS preamp. Will come with a basic but well padded gig bag and will be very well packed for shipment.
While it isn't a museum piece by any stretch, it's still a beautiful player which is why the bass I'm asking for in trade would ideally also be "player" grade.
What I want: Basically whatever Czech made neck through Spector 5er you're willing to part with. From an early dot neck 34 inch CR to a more recent Euro LX and any era in between. Again, I'm not expecting it to be in stellar condition. Scratches, dings and wear are fine as long as the frets, electronics and neck are in good working order. Color is barely an issue.
