Nice!

Hey Fred. I am interested in this bad boy. Please call me at 410-829-5127 so perhaps I can demo it and then do a local deal. Thanks!

Yes, got it on trade from him (his thread --> SOLD!! Lakland 55-02 w/ Nordstrand pickups & Bartolini pre SOLD!!!! ) He wanted a bass I was selling and I was sure to tell him up front that the 55-02 was almost certainly going up for sale as soon as I got it.

Wink

On hold for LowFreq (local test drive). If it does not work for him, I'll put her back up. So get in line now and I'll contact you!

Quad, just to clarify yours has a rosewood board, the Lakland pic from their site is just a sample (even though it has a maple board)?

Duh!!!! You are correct! Man, I missed that. I'll fix it later (have to leave right now). It's with LowFreqguy right now taking a test drive.

I don't usually like black basses, but that's sweet.

55-02's are better with rosewood imo, soundwise.

It's a damn shame that these are 35" scale. I love Lakies, but just don't like 35" scale.

Bump for Fred.

It's one MEAN bass and most used 55-02s in this shape sell for about this money WITHOUT the Nordstrand pickups upgrade. Better get this one fast as it will be moved to Evil Bay very soon.
