I got the bass a few months back and I'm just not playing it that much. Has some dings on the body and some wear on the maple neck and board. Passive electronics look original to the bass. I know these came with a preamp too but the pots are all dated from 1983 and look original to the bass. Has single volume and tone control and they are reversed from the normal. The volume is in back and the tone by the 3 way selector, which is missing the screw on tip. Has a set of TI Jazz Rounds and plays and sounds fine. A few sharp fret ends but hardly any fret wear. Comes with a hard case that is not original to the bass but the bass fits in it snugly. Asking $375 shipped.

these are great basses, great price too! does it have the Bunker design tension free neck?

I also wish that I played a 4 string. These were a bass that I was smitten with back when I started playing, though I never got to try one. They are a rare find and look to be great basses... but alas, I'm hooked on 5'ers.
Seriously though, $375 for a US made, rare bass?!?!
