Let me tell you, if this were a right-hander there's no WAY I'd be selling it.
I've sent the serial number off to ex-Alembic (and it shows - look at that headstock) luthier Rick Turner for more info, I'll update this thread when I get it.
The Turner Website says this:
Quote:
NECK:
Neck upgrades include bird's-eye maple and optional 5-layer contrasting veneer laminate on back of peghead. Other options include unlined fretless fingerboard and left-handed construction.

This bass has ALL of these options. Birdseye neck, lovely veneer work on the back of the head, left-handed unlined fretless.
One pickup, plus piezoelectronics in the saddles. 18V preamp. Birdseye Maple neck, finished unlined fingerboard, with what look to be abalone markings on the side. 35" Scale.
Head Rear Fretboard Birdseye Neck Piezoelectronic Bridge Serial Number Side Markings
For a good enough offer or trade, I will let this beauty go.
Trades must be right-handed though.
To give an idea of value, I've seen them selling online for £1600-£2000. (US$2,839-3549) I'd put this in the upper bracket of that, as it's got quite a few of the optional extras. Veneer work, piezos, birdseye maple, all that.
Original fitted hardcase included.
Downsides: BED and G are fitted with Groundwounds, but the A-string is missing.
Some mild scratching at one point on the fretboard - only light, and only cosmetic. You could sand it off if it bothered you.
The obvious drawback - I'm in the UK, and buyer pays postage.
Drop me a PM or post if you're interested, have an offer, or a question. Or just feel generally lonely and want to talk for the sake of it.
