Two Carl Thompsons ('77 & '95)

Well I said I would never sell these but I found something I've been looking for for ages. (4004LK which is the ONLY thing I would be interested in trade wise) So here we go....

1995 Carl Thompson

- Flamed Maple facings, Walnut back, Maple neck with ebony binding, rosewood board, looks like Mahogany center strip.

-36" scale bolt on neck

-1 5/8" nut

-Single EMG 40 DC with EMG electronics (Vol, Tone, Expander)

-Carl's wood bridge (I do not have any of the extra saddles but I'm sure Carl would make you some)

-Action at 12th fret is about 3mm same at the 24th

$4800 shipped CONUS

Yeah that's my baby (birth year too) so I'm pretty hesitant on letting it go.

I would consider partial trades for Fender Custom Shop Relics and Ric's

Demon666,

I'm surprised to still see these for sale. Have you tried ebay?(I understand if you haven't) I know there is a huge market overseas for CT's.

If I could, I would get the 77 CT, but I just can't swing it now.

Good luck with the sales!

That '77 is super cool. Likely one of the most desirable non-Fodera non-vintage Fender instruments out there.

Thanks. I'm pretty surprised too. I have put them up on eBay yet but I might do that this weekend.

Yo demon666,

The LK sold so you may want to reevaluate your situation.

You don't see many Neck Through CTs. And that wood is a thing of beauty.

Do you want to be old and grey still regreting not buying this bass?
