Well i just raised the cash for a nordy VJ5 so this is no longer needed. Im putting this out as a feeler.

This is a Cherry Red MTD Z5 mahogany/burled maple with a maple/maple neck. It has Bart P2 pickups (CB's i believe) an Aggie OBP-3 Preamp (modded with a frequency switch and individual pickup coil changermagigys.) a hipshot A style bridge and dunlop straplocks.

oh my, that bass is sweet. I might bite if it's still around Wednesday (payday). I think I was told once that barts aren't too bright sounding. How would you describe the sound of the bass?

Ill have to plug it in again, hasent got much play time since i got the nordy. Its pretty versatile. It can good a good jazz sound or a nice growly or nice beefy sound. The Barts are rather smooth, i like them alot. But if you want you can defiantly get some brightness.

The slap tone seems alot more bright than the Finger style tone, but im pretty sure thats with all basses haha

Just played it and am blown away im actually selling it haha. Ill deffinatly buy a US MTD one day
