Upgraded Epi T-Bird - $350 worth of Nordstrand Big Splits, Supertone -FS or part out

EDIT - BASS IS PARTED - Mostly gone. Only the stainless trussrod cover remains - 1 pm for that. PM if you want to get you name in the ring for that one - I'll go down the list of PM's for someone to throw down the cash!

I also still have the hardcase for sale, if you're in the Phoenix Arizona area. I'd rather not ship it, but if you are dying to have it we could work something out.

Hi all -

2 options here:

1) a sale intact

2) email me with interest in the parts, case, etc. so I can consider the option of parting out the bass.

OK, this is a nicely upgraded Epi T-bird, with Nordstrand Big Splits, A Hipshot Supertone Bridge, and some aesthetic upgrades (chrome-top knobs, and a stainless truss cover).

It includes a custom-fit locking hardshell case, with key (not the generic rectangle).

I have this wired series, and it really does sound good. The alder body/maple neck make a good platform for the Nordys.

This has a really great neck, with smooth fretwork. Bass is very clean and has the T look and a great solid sound. Straplocks installed with button behind neck for balance (no neck dive here at all).

Currently wired series in a VVT layout, and it sounds really good wide open - but the volume doesn't drop out totally when both knobs are rolled off. Epi may have used odd pots. If you're interested in the bass intact, I'll sort out the wiring or return it to parallel for you.

Intact sale with case, $325 plus exact shipping costs.

If parted out, here's what would be available:

- Nordstrand Big Splits - $140 shipped - still have packaging, no lead was cut at all for install.

- Hipshot Supertone bridge - $75 shipped - fantastic upgrade for Gibson & Epi basses

- Stainless Trussrod Cover - $15 shipped.

- Chrome-top knobs - $12 shipped, set of 4 (2 vol, 2 tone)

- Pickguard - $25 shipped

- Straplocks - $20 shipped

- Hardshell Case - not sure I want to ship, but hit me up if interested.

- Neck w.Tuners, nut - $50 shipped

- Body - $50 shipped

If you are interested in a part, PM me (or add below) - if there's enough parts interest I'll part out in the next few weeks.

Thanks guys - any questions, hit me up-

Did those Nordstrands drop right in or was routing required? I might want these for mine.

If Parted out, I'd be interested in the bridge and chrome tops.

The Nordys required just a hair of extra length, and they don't quite fill the space for the width, so there are small gaps on the neck and bridge sides of the pups. They also needed a bit of height help - I used wood to raise them up a bit).
