I've dusted off the case on this one and it's time to sell it. This is a US L2000, not sure of the year. Transparent orange ash body, nicely figured maple neck and fingerboard. The nut is a 1.75". This bass is in great condition and I've thought about keeping it, but I haven't played it in over a year and it needs to be played. Here's some details for everybody.
-Great condition. I can only find one small nick, on the back edge. It's about the size of a pinhead. The pickup poles show some wear, as it looks like the metal has just flaked off a bit. There's a picture you can check out. And if you catch the light right, you can see some shine where the thumb rests by the pickups. There's also a chip on the top of the headstock.
-All electronics work great. Treble pot may need to be sprayed as it will have a slight scratching sound every now and then, but not constantly. Doesn't need to be replaced.
-The bass needs new strings. Like I said, I haven't played it in over a year, so I didn't see a need to replace them. With a new set of strings and a personal setup, this thing will play great.
-The case is cosmetically a little rough. Some scratches, and the plastic has bubbled on the top. Also, 3 of the 4 feet have recessed or been knocked off, so it doesn't stay up. But the latches are perfectly fine and it protects the bass just as it should.
All that having been said, this is a great bass. I like to be detailed, so I've tried to be as thorough as possible. But to get to the point, all this bass NEEDS is strings. I have pictures of everything mentioned if you'd like to PM me. I'd like to get
