Have a US masters EP 42 in close to new shape. This
is a upgrade model with Mahogany body with amber clear
finish, Pau Ferro fretboard, and birds eye maple neck. I
am the second owner of this and estimate is is early
2000's era. Only sign of wear on the axe is some wear
on bridge pickup. This also has the upgrade MVP tone
system which is very versitle ( this is a passive bass).
As for tone options can range from a Fender P to Jazz,
to brighter tones of say a Rick or older Guild. The neck
is very very straight and has very low action. Similar
style neck as on the Alembics ( D shape) for very fast
action. This is same bass as the present version aside
from different knobs used for tone and volume.
In regards to the case good shape but a few
spots where the vinyl is gone (pencil size ). Selling
toward funds for a local custom shop. If you are looking
for a fast bass with a lot of tone you are going to love
this bass...
