US / Skyline Bob Glaub - Lake Placid Blue

The story on this bass is great. During the floods in Nashville, this bass was one of the victims. The neck was warped, electronics destroyed, etc... but she was given a second chance. The original owner let me buy the US body and some of the hardware that made it through the ordeal. I shipped it back to the factory and Carl Pedigo evaluated her and determined she was fit to rebuild. He then outfitted with a Skyline Maple neck, new electronics (including a Hanson Neo-Punch pick up) and used as much of the original hardware as possible. The result is an incredible bass with a voice clear and crisp that can slap with the best or growl like a p-bass should.
The reason for the sale is that I am chasing a US Dark Star Glaub that I have wanted for quite some time...

Someone should get this. I am a rosewood guy or I would be all over it. The Neo Pick Up with a maple neck has to punch you hard in the chest! Great story behind this one and you couldnt deal with a better seller either!

These show the neck shim that is not really visible unless looking very closely. The finish cracks on the tail dont photograph well... this is the best I can get. All in all, she is a beauty that has been through the war.
