USA CUSTOM P bass with Nordstrand pickups and Hipshot ultralight hardware. Comes with Incase slimbag.
This bass is in very good condition, and has suited me well, but I need the funds for another purchase... so it's gotta go!
Here are the stats:
Ash body, top routed, battery box installed for active electronics. (Bass is wired passive - V-V-T)
1 piece maple neck (no longer offered from USACG) rosewood fretboard with a Jazz bass profile. Frets are in very good condition.
Nordstrand P and J pickups (They sound HUGE!)
Hipshot ultralite tuning keys and type "A" bridge
Incase slim bag gig bag, very spacious, includes a rain cover.
The cost of the parts alone would run you 1200.00 and I would assume an addtional 2 to 3 hundred for labor and finishing... I'm asking 600.00 shipped. - SOLD!!!!
This is a players bass, and it's chock full of the finest passive tone due to the Nordstrand pickups. It really doesn't need an active preamp... It really sounds that HUGE! This bass really sings when you dig into it, punchy as hell too!
It plays and sounds just as good as any 70's Precision that I have ever played, and with it's light weight, it is very gentle on the back and shoulders!
