USA G&L L 2000 trans red

Sign in to disble this ad
Grabbed this up not too long ago on a whim. Its really quite nice, my first G&L and I can see why they are well thought of.

Couple little dings here and there, nothing glaring. Some swirling on the back but not buckle rash. one ding, (looks like a quarter dinged it?) near the p'ups and another scratch below the bridge.

6 bolt neck.

With G&L case.

Neck feels great, controls all work as advertised. One pot is scratchy but settles down ok. Good looking trans red color. rosewood neck.

So, I broke the rule and up-sized without first completing a downsize.

Now its for sale.

$675 + actual exact shipping.

Better pics on their way. Its rosewood, and I think the year is late 90's but I will check.

I dont know the nut width, were they all the same or are there different widths for different L2000's?

I'll measure when I get home today, and post the serial # as well to help with the date of mfgr.

Thanks!

All of the pics I have right now. I'll take more with better lighting. I nixed the flash to try to show the grain- the one with the flash makes it looks CAR.

Weight is exactly 10 lbs as per the bathroom scale. (I also noticed that that I lost 2 lbs)

Width of neck at the nut is 1 and 11/16, which, for the math challenged, looks to be just a hair under 1 3/4 and a hair over 1 5/8.

That's wider than my KSD jazz, and more narrow than my squier P.

What is the radius of the fretboard? You can make a radius guage from here. http://www.pickguardian.com/pickguar...s%20Gauges.pdf
